You can now refill your shampoo and conditioner at Unilever’s All Things Hair Refillery

It’s about time that big corporations like Unilever do these kind of projects! Just this weekend, Unilever opened the All Things Hair Refillery in 3 locations namely, Trinoma, Glorietta, and Alabang Town Center. I went to Alabang Town Center, the Refillery is near the Metro Department Store entrance, in front of Etude House and Tony Moly.

First, you need to register. After that, choose the brands of shampoo and conditioner you want to refill. If you brought your clean bottles, you can hand it to the staff so that they can check if your bottles are clean and suitable for refilling.

NOTE:

• If you want to buy Dove Straight and Silky, your old bottle should also be Dove Straight and Silky.
• If you brought bottles of other brands, just give it to the staff and they will give you a refillable bottle for FREE.
• If you did not bring any bottles, you can buy a refillable bottle for 10 pesos. You can reuse it the next time you refill.

Before you can refill, they will weigh your container first.

After that, you can now refill your bottle. Ikaw ang magpa-pump kasi you can choose if you want it full or kalahati lang, basta they have a minimum of 50 grams for refill.

They will weigh your bottle again, they’ll deduct the weight of your bottle so that you will just pay for the amount of shampoo or conditioner you pumped. Nice!

The staff said that you’ll get as much as 20% discount if you go to the Refillery than buy another bottle, plus it’s bad for the environment.

What I also love about the Refillery is that they put a label on your bottle with the Manufacturing Date and Expiration Date. You’re guaranteed that the product is safe.

The Refillery Stations will be open until April 14, 2019. But I do hope that this will be permanent, so that a lot of people can have more options on how to care for the environment.
