Recently, I asked you about your family’s drinking water after reading a post on Rappler on water safety. I came to realize that providing drinking water from refilling stations isn’t generally safe. This was proven by a video shown to us during the launch of Unilever PureIt’s “Sure Ka Ba?” campaign. More on the campaign later but please watch the video.

Mr. Brian Duruin, PureIt’s brand manager, said, “Through the video, we wanted to show households, especially the moms, how refilled water can easily be contaminated due to improper handling and transport of containers and other human factors. I have been thinking of getting a water purifier for us, too. Sa dami na kasi ng water refilling station, nakaka-alarm na talaga kung talagang malinis nga.
We used to have this type na may tube na parang chalk, dun napupunta lahat ng filtered dirt and nakakadiri talaga kasi slimey.
