We always encourage Gwen to do more outdoor play. Being active is also good for the kids, physically and socially, because they get to play with other kids. One of the things we’re really grateful since we lived here in Cavite is that Gwen have plenty of outdoor space to run around and play. There’s the playground, hello monkey bars, see-saw, and slide. And then there’s the clubhouse and basketball court for more space if she likes to ride her bike or go rollerblading. These past months, she’s into practicing with her rollerblades, inspired by the movie Mighty Ducks which is on the loop since December haha…
There was one weekend when Jeff and Gwen started in the morning, came back for lunch and then went out again to rollerblade and voila, in just 1 day, Gwen knew how to balance, run and stop on her rollerblades.
Ooooops, part of playing is that your kids will stumble, fall, roll, and drop. Just make sure that they wear knee and elbow pads for protection.
One time, our neighbor asked me if I also wash the knee and elbow pads after every use. I said we wash them to remove the sweat. Her pads are made of stretchy fabric and that’s why sweat clings to it. Do you know my secret aside from washing her clothes and accessories after playing? I also use Downy Sunrise Fresh. With our clothes (Jeff’s and my clothes), I use Downy Parfum, but for Gwen, I like the more playful and fresh smell of Sunrise Fresh. I always tell her yaya to use Downy Sunrise Fresh to Gwen’s PE and girl scout uniform because she sweats a lot during those days.
Mommies, I will let you in on a little secret! Downy has perfume micro-capsules deposited in the fabric when you use them on your last rinse. So when your kids wear their PE uniform and goes running and does physical activities, they rub their clothes more and more. Because of this rubbing, the perfume micro capsule will burst and will release perfume oils. So even if they sweat, pagbalik sa classroom at pagsakay sa school service, kids are still fresh smelling. Hindi halatang PE day nila :p.
Since bata pa ako Downy na talaga ang gamit ng mama ko sa paglalaba, hanggang ngayon. Na-try na nga namin lahat ng variant ng Downy eh, hahaha. Kasi naman po pak na pak talaga ang Downy. ‘Yong tipong huhubarin mo na after a very long day at para ilagay sa labahan ang bango bango pa rin. Sa paglalaba ang ginagawa namin ng mama ko, ‘yong last part ng banlaw we use enough water and put 1 sachet of downy sa palanggana ibinababad namin ng mga 5 minutes ‘yong mga damit namin and it works really wonder. Talagang kapit na kapit ang bango ni Downy. I even remebered na one time, bata pa ako nun naubusan ang binibilan nmin na tindahang downy kasi bibili pa so pinabili ako ng ibang brand ni mama, ang sabi ko sa tindera, “Pabili nga po ng downy yung (biglang sabi ng ibang brand) hahaha. I also use downy hindi lang sa clothes ng baby ko. Ginagamit din namin sya pang-air freshener sa room. Halo lang sa tubig, then konting spray spray… Boom! Bango na and fresh ang air. I love the scent of Downy Sunrise Fresh kasi mild lang..
What i love about Downy is that bukod sa mabango at mlambot ang mga garments at damit , nagiging madali ang pagiron sa mga damit and it makes it easier and faster na magplantsa ng damit and syempre it keeps the kids smelling fresh longer khit mghapon sila sa labas ng bhay

Pag sinabing Fabric Conditioner trusted talaga ang Downy. Ever since na natuto kong maglaba, di makukumpleto ang labahin pag walang Downy. Di lang namin gamit ito for clothes pwede din sa sofa and pampunas sa ibang furnitures. Downy is a must have for me and will always complete my shopping list.

I been a Downy user eversince, because it has different variant DOWNY Sunrise Fresh or ANTIBAC and DOWNY Passion and the scent is mild and long lasting my kids love it too.

Me and my family has been using downy for the longest time bukod sa long lasting ang fragrance nila. Our family preferred Downy as there are lot of brands that came out that is cheaper but still nothing beats the original brand that my family used throughout the years. Cheaper brands tend to lessen the quality of their product or in their packaging they fool you in the content of it but with Downy subok na and trusted for years and years in our family. My Mom used Downy while I was growing up and now I am using it in my own family and soon my kids will use it for their family as well in the future. As with Downy even my son who is sweaty coming from basketball practice doesn’t smell bad it helps kill germs with their Downy Antibac and it prevents my son from having foul body odors. Highly recommended and I am confident that using Downy will be passed down to our family from generations to generations 🙂
I will try Downy Sunrise Fresh since I’ve been using Downy Antibac to keep away my kiddo from mosquito bites. Amoy pawis is also a no no lalo na pag may pagka hyper na ang bulilit especially when playing outside.

I always smell good and my officemate sometimes asks me what perfume am I using. When I tell that my wife just use downy on our clothes, they always thought I am joking. Yes that’s true. Downy talaga ang no. 1 fabcon for me. Bata palang ako downy na gamit ni mama ngayon na may mga anak ko downy parin ang gamit namin sa bahay. Consistent talaga ang bango nya hindi nawawala kahit pagpawisan kapa maghapon lalo na mga anak ko na super active. Still amoy fresh padin sila after maglaro.
I really love downy. Lahat ng variants nila. I have active kids and i admit it medyo amoy maasim lalo na yung eldest ko but when i used downy sunrise fresh sa mga clothes and uniforms nya i was surprised, after school mabango padin ang baby boy ko. Downy rin ang gamit ni mama kahit nung mga bata palang kami. Kaya love na love ko mga shirts ko kasi kahit maghapon maglaro super bango padin. Ngayong working na ako, downy padin gamit ko sa mga uniforms ko. All day bango ko pa din kahit na maghapon akong nasa kitchen at mag commute.
I also use Downy antibac inwashing my 7th grader’s school unforms. Downy keeps her smelling fresh even after school that is why I keep Downy staple in our home.
its super true.. downy really made my laundry chore stress free.. never to worry of my finish product to be still smelling the “pawis” from my hubby’s work clothes and from the “crayons” smelling uniforms of my elementary atudents.
I agree with the physical activities. It gets them to exercise and if we do it outdoors, they see refreshing sights and also breathe in fresh air. I notice that my kids are happier if we get to play outdoors. I just wish we can go to the park everyday. That is why I have made it my commitment to bring them to the park at least twice a week starting this year.

Actually i’m using tide with downy in washing my clothes. But i still use downy passion kapag banlaw time na. Iba po kapag may downy, yung bango tumatagal .

Minsan nga dina kelangan ng additional perfume or cologne para bumango tayo kasi sa Downy pa lang sapat na para bumango tayo.. 😊 Nilalagyan ko din nito yung water na pang banlaw sa mop para bumango din ang aming tahanan..
