We always encourage Gwen to do more outdoor play. Being active is also good for the kids, physically and socially, because they get to play with other kids. One of the things we’re really grateful since we lived here in Cavite is that Gwen have plenty of outdoor space to run around and play. There’s the playground, hello monkey bars, see-saw, and slide. And then there’s the clubhouse and basketball court for more space if she likes to ride her bike or go rollerblading. These past months, she’s into practicing with her rollerblades, inspired by the movie Mighty Ducks which is on the loop since December haha…
There was one weekend when Jeff and Gwen started in the morning, came back for lunch and then went out again to rollerblade and voila, in just 1 day, Gwen knew how to balance, run and stop on her rollerblades.
Ooooops, part of playing is that your kids will stumble, fall, roll, and drop. Just make sure that they wear knee and elbow pads for protection.
One time, our neighbor asked me if I also wash the knee and elbow pads after every use. I said we wash them to remove the sweat. Her pads are made of stretchy fabric and that’s why sweat clings to it. Do you know my secret aside from washing her clothes and accessories after playing? I also use Downy Sunrise Fresh. With our clothes (Jeff’s and my clothes), I use Downy Parfum, but for Gwen, I like the more playful and fresh smell of Sunrise Fresh. I always tell her yaya to use Downy Sunrise Fresh to Gwen’s PE and girl scout uniform because she sweats a lot during those days.
Mommies, I will let you in on a little secret! Downy has perfume micro-capsules deposited in the fabric when you use them on your last rinse. So when your kids wear their PE uniform and goes running and does physical activities, they rub their clothes more and more. Because of this rubbing, the perfume micro capsule will burst and will release perfume oils. So even if they sweat, pagbalik sa classroom at pagsakay sa school service, kids are still fresh smelling. Hindi halatang PE day nila :p.

Yay! I am also a Downy User. I used Dorny anti-bac and Downy Sunrise. I am using it not only forthe clothes! Ginagawa ko din syang air freshener sa bahay lalo na pag isda ang lulutuin ko. Sobra kasi ang amoy na naiiwan sa bahay pag isda ang niluluto ko. And syempre,ginagamit ko din sya sa CR namin pampabango 😁😁😁
It’s good po to know that your kid is playing not by gadgets but by the physical activity that we used/did way back 80’s-90’s, hahaha! Mas maganda po talaga na active ang mga kids natin by physical and social activity. Anyway, I’m also a Downy user. I used Downy Parfum for all of our clothes. Nakakatuwang malaman din na Downy has its micro capsule na nagre-release ng bango para all day bango sa ating mga active kids! Try ko ngang mag-rub lagi at kantahin din ang “Let’s do the rubadub-bango, Downy’s rubadub-bango.. 🎤💃😂
