In the Kitchen will be the category where I will post some of the recipes I cook for my family. I promise you these are super-duper easy recipes because I’m really not an expert in the kitchen plus the fact that I don’t want recipes with so many steps/how-tos. Just 4-6 instructions, anything more than that, I skip the page of my recipe book and look for simpler recipes. So newbies in the kitchen, I hope you’ll try my recipes or suggestions and let’s share kitchen secrets!

Whenever we crave for buffalo chicken wings, Wingman at The Collective in Makati is our go-to place. For more chicken wings flavors, Wingstop is our best bet. But both of the stores are now closed :(, but there’s still Wingman in Acacia Estates though.

I gave in to my cravings and cooked my homemade buffalo wings! The advantage is that, ang mura lang ng chicken wings sa grocery plus I can adjust the spiciness of the buffalo sauce.

A woman wears many hats, daughter, sister, friend, wife, careerwoman, mom, and among other things. Each hat comes tons of responsibilities and endless to-do lists. When I was still working and enjoying the multi-hyphenated life… careerwoman-slash-mommy-slash-wife-slash-blogger… I never understood the thought that being a stay at home mom can be so difficult. How can a SAHM be so busy when she doesn’t have to rush to work or a deadline to meet?

All that changed when I took a different path last year. My multi-hyphenated life just became a mommy-slash-wife-slash-blogger. I really got excited because I thought that means late night binge-watching on Netflix, going to the malls on weekdays with less crowd, or having coffee or mani-pedi session with friends. But those deadlines were replaced with my daughter’s schedule, and my workloads were replaced with my to-do-list like laundry, meal plans, grocery list, bills payment, etc. I’m just grateful that I’m winging it day by day, women are wired to be resilient, strong, and confident.

Now more than ever, women have the FREEDOM to choose what roles they want to be. We have friends and support groups to empower us.

Just this weekend, Unilever opened the All Things Hair Refillery in 3 locations namely, Trinoma, Glorietta, and Alabang Town Center. I went to Alabang Town Center, the Refillery is near the Metro Department Store entrance, in front of Etude House and Tony Moly.

Last night, I cooked tokwa’t baboy for dinner. What I do with the liempo is I boil them in water with onion, salt, and pepper. When the liempo is cooked, I now have a delicious pork broth! I usually use it to cook corned beef sopas.
