Gwen is now in the stage when she enjoys watching and listening to nursery rhymes. Thanks to Youtube, we can sing and watch all the nursery rhymes she wants for free. I’m really surprised that she can hum Twinkle Twinkle Little Star already, I posted it a few entries back but I don’t think you can view it if you’re not my friend on FB.
A few songs she likes are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, B-I-N-G-O, If you’re happy and you know it, and all the songs that Barney sings.
To keep these milestones, Jeff prefers making a video while I prefer photos. But with Gwen singing, I agree that a video is the best way to keep. And when it comes to video, I just have to hand it over to my husband. He knows how to work around with editing videos and also doing background music using Image Line FL Studio or any other software.
What nursery rhymes do you sing with your toddlers? How do you keep these memories, do you prefer photos or videos?

Awie has only 3 favorite songs- bahay kubo, twinkle twinkle little star and dreamboat (I’m not sure about the title but I heard bugs bunny sing it when i was a kid).
It’s not that I don’t sing her any other songs, I’ve tried. But these are the only songs where she would smile. sigh.
But we’ve got plenty of time to acquaint her with other songs, she’s only 6 mos.

My 2-year old daughter Calli loves Ako Ay May Lobo, Bahay Kubo and Barney’s I love You song. Calli and I sing along YouTube videos of these songs and I take video of us singing them. So much fun to do. -Mina, mommina.blogspot.com ^_^
