My 2-year-old will be going to school tomorrow. It’s a summer class for toddlers, we’re just testing if she’s ready for school by June. Aside from that, we’re already running out of things to teach her, hehe. She knows her ABCs, 123s, colors and she got bored watching Barney and singing nursery rhymes. Singing and playing inside the classroom with other kids will help her social skills too.
Before she slept earlier, I showed to her the bag she’ll use. To her excitement, she wore the bag and gamely posed for the camera…
My dearest Gwen,
Yesterday, I was just holding you in my arms.
Today, you’re slowly stepping out to a bigger world
You filled my nights with your cries, shrieks and coo-ing,
Now, it’s you who’ll sing a medley of nursery rhymes at night
I love dressing you up, I choose your clothes
Every morning, you rummage through your clothes and wear what you like
Day by day, you’re being independent
Inch by inch, your world is getting bigger
As much as I want to hold you tighter
I know that I have to let you go to be your own person
Ayan, umiiyak na ako =( This is not even a big school yet, what would I feel if she’s entering college or getting married? =(
