Maynilad is once again having scheduled water interruptions due to the flood control project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). Affected areas are portions of Caloocan, Manila, Pasay, Makati, Parañaque, Muntinlupa, and Las Piñas; and Cavite City, Bacoor City, Imus City, and the towns of Kawit, Rosario, and Noveleta in Cavite.
Maynilad is realigning its seven-foot-tall water pipeline along Juan Luna St. and Hermosa St. in Tondo, Manila, starting August 10. This pipe realignment will give way to the flood interceptor project of the Department of Public Works and Highways.
The activity will involve exposing, dewatering, realigning and energizing the seven-foot-tall water pipeline, which will take almost 5 days to complete. As a result, water supply interruptions will be felt in several portions of our concession area from 1 p.m. of August 10 (Monday) to 10 p.m. of August 13 (Thursday), and from 1 p.m. of August 17 (Monday) to 3 p.m. of August 18 (Tuesday).
