The other day, yaya Gladys said, “Ang laki na ni Gwen ate no? Dati tinutulak ko pa yan sa stroller sa labas para makatulog.” She’s referring to her routine way back in January and February of this year, she would put Gwen in her stroller, give milk and then walk down the street to make Gwen fall asleep for her afternoon nap. Now, Gwen is too big to be confined in a stroller and too stubborn when it’s time to sleep (galit sa tulog tong batang to eh).

I got teary-eyed when realization came that my baby is now all grown up. She’s a toddler now, she will be a tween tomorrow, and she will be an adult in the near future. Once she became an adult, she might not need me anymore. Gosh, just typing this sentence made me cry =(
I used to think the statement “Ayaw padapuan sa lamok ang anak” is so OA. But once you become a parent, you just want to do everything even if it’s impossible just to protect your child. Kung pwede lang maipasa yung sipon, ubo, lagnat ng mga anak natin, I’m sure aangkinin na lang natin lahat yun. I’d rather suffer than seeing my baby in pain. Kahit kagat lang ng lamok, langgam o kahit anong insekto pa yan, I’m one of those mommies who will say “Ayaw ko padapuan ng lamok ang anak ko.”
That will happen in a perfect world. But the reality is day by day, our children are out to set foot into their own world. So while it lasts, I will give Gwen all the love, care and protection she needs. After all, iba talaga ang alagang mommy.
Sorry for the drama, it’s because of the new TVC of Johnson’s Baby Complete Care System. It’s for the new way of caring baby’s bum but watching the TVC melts my heart, maybe it’s the music, the captions, the narration, the nostalgia it brings…
What do you think of the new Johnson’s Baby TVC?

Mommies, don’t forget to like Johnson’s Baby Philippines on Facebook.
The commercial was so cute and heartwarming. Another great TVC Johnson’s baby Complete Care System.
I love it how Johnson’s TVC put emphasize on how important the alagang mommy is. Heartwarming indeed.
Haha! Feeling Nostalgic si Mommy! I haven’t seen that TVC yet, but I will after submitting this comment. And yes, I agree with the slogan, “Basta Mommy, ibang mag-alaga.”
The TV commercials of Johnson’s always appeal to motherly instincts, makes you feel there’s no other product that should touch your child.
It’s heartwarming as always. I have the same fears as yours Mommy as my daughter is close to puberty.
This tvc is very heartwarming, it almost brought me to tears when I first saw it…
I haven’t seen the TVC yet, but mom and child scenes are enough to bring tears to my eyes. π
I 101% can relate with you and this TVC really so touching to us mommies, really true! Thats why we have to simply take care of them accordingly. When they are babies , hope we are there to see them and attend them, so when they become adults, we will not miss a thing:) Good day!
Johnsons tvs are always heart warming. I mean, seeing a baby with their mom is just priceless. Those unexpected smiles from the babies, whoah!
yes, we are tend to be over acting when it comes to our children, i guess because of our love for them.
I have a tween now and it seems like I gave birth just yesterday. :/
Basta mommy iba talaga mag alaga! I love this TVC! Bilis talaga lumaki ng mga bata. Kanina nga si Ykaie pinagmamasdan ko iniisip ko ano kaya itsura nya pag nagdalaga. hehe!
Babies do grow fast. Di mo na namalayan may dalagita ka na pla.
Touching TVC.
Time sure flies. It has been almost a year since I last saw Gwen. π
Wag mong sabhing sa bday nya ulit kayo magkikita? =)
Ahehe ganyan na ganyan din ang asawa ko lol π
Waaah, I don’t want to think about it. :p
Kamukha ni Peachy hahaha
I feel the same way for my toddler.
Yup, and I make sure I document all their milestones by taking photos and videos.
wow! I just realised that my daughter is getting big and teens very soon! Right before my very eyes! Very touching video indeed! I salute all the moms! xx
So touching.. Baby are wonderful gift from God. Like most Moms, I also make sure that my baby is safe, protected and loved. I am so excited for my second baby π
I feel the same way especially with Yoe because she’s already a tween now. She needs a different parenting approach and it bothers me a lot.
nothing beats mother’s loving and soothing touch. π I’m glad I am to be given the opportunity to become a mom.
Hay sinabi mo pa. Dindin is already 3.5 years old and I am already thinking about her 4th birthday. We are already planning about making it a Barbie birthday…Waaaaa Melancholia mode!
Ibang mag-alaga ang mommy talaga!
Time flies, ang bilis lang ng panahon. Mga mommies talaga, I could only sigh seeing photos of my girls when they’re still babies. now that they’re tweens, I could only wish to carry them again and sing again lullabyes to sleep but they’re bigger than me now.
I haven’t seen the TVC but, it’s really true na “iba ang mag alaga ang mommy”. My mom loved me best and I’m passing thru that kind of love to my daughter too.
ano ba yan napaiyak din ako!
just imagining my little sati na magdadalaga ay di ko yata kakayanin teh!
I still have to see the TVC at malamang maiiyak ako jan haha
I can so relate! Every mom would also feel the same watching the TVC, kakamiss ang mga babies…on my part, I feel like I’m getting older when I look at my kids’ photos.. :/
Ayokong maging dalaginding ang mga unica hija natin =)
Dindin is really pretty sis. And she stands like a beauty queen.
Weee! Congrats Jem, 1 boy and 1 girl ka na.
very true! Iba talaga ang alagang mommy, walang kapantay
Definitely moving TV commercial π Mommies will always be babies best friend.
whoa! that was a touching TVC!
The tvc is really heartwarming. I’m not yet a mom, but imagining myself in your shoes, I can somehow feel a part of what you’re feeling as a mom.
