For months now, Jeff has been bugging me to take Gwen with us when hiking. It’s just for a day hike but I’m still hesitant about it. He showed me websites and blogs of families going hiking and yes, it’s possible to take babies out in the woods. But all those sites are from the US and Europe and I haven’t encountered a Filipino family doing such (baka kami una??)
But even if I already agreed, we can’t go because we still don’t have Osprey Backpacks with child carrier yet. His cousin from Canada promised to send one for us and we’re just waiting for it to arrive. If our hiking plans won’t push through here in the Philippines, I’m quite sure that our first hiking as a family will be in our HK trip on November.

I think that type of baby carrier is a splurge since I would presume you wouldn’t hike too often naman… I suggest you buy an Ergobaby Performance carrier and a good hiking bag will be fine…
