Last week, before President Duterte announced the community quarantine in Metro Manila, I already received the news in one of the mommy Viber groups I belong to. Sabi 5 pm daw mag-aannounce, so nung 3 pm I rushed to the nearest supermarket, good thing hindi pa rush hour and I was able to shop for some necessities na hindi pa mahaba ang pila.
The day after the announcement, I heard ang haba na raw ng pila at ang dami ng tao.
Kamusta kayo mommies? Nakapamili ba kayo ng mga kailangan nyo? Ako although nakapamili na ako, kelangan ko pang bumalik kasi hindi ako naka-prepare the last time.
Ngayon, helpful talaga ang may list para walang makalimutan. Lalo na that we are under Enhanced Community Quarantine at buong Luzon na.

Rice & Grains
- Rice – rice is life!
- Pasta – spaghetti tsaka for sopas
- Noodles – Bihon/Canton tsaka Misua
- Oatmeal – for breakfast
- Rice Malagkit – for lugaw/champorado breakfast
- Munggo – for long storage, tsaka tipid lutuin
- Popcorn – instead of chips, make popcorn instead
Meat, Fish, Frozen Goods
- Pork giniling – marami na bilhin nyo tapos store it in separate Ziploc
- Chicken – you can buy whole then pa-chop, store in separate Ziploc
- Pork liempo – marami ka nang magagawang luto, you can slice in small pieces para pangsahog sa ginisang gulay or munggo
- Bangus/frozen seafood
- Hotdog
- Tocino
- Bacon
- Dried fish/tuyo/daing
Canned Goods
- Corned Beef

- Canned Tuna
