It’s exam week for my preschooler. While I’m pretty cool and calm about it, we don’t want to put pressure on Gwen. She’s in Junior Kinder, or Nursery, or Preschool, or whatever you call it. First day of exam is Science and Reading, second day is Math and Language. My student is ready but the parents aren’t. Imagine, aside from having a sort of refresher for the exams, her teachers gave 2 projects in one week. Submission dates for the project is 2 days apart but still??? exam week and two projects??? A word wheel and an animal face mask.
Good thing Daddy is the meticulous, crafty, and patient one, hehe. Seriously, these projects aren’t for 3-year-olds. Here’s the finished product of Gwen’s CVC Word Wheel. I’ll try to come up with a tutorial soon.
The other project is to make an animal face mask. My only participation for this is I bought the mask in Divi, and the rest is Daddy’s artistic talent. The finished product and what kind of animal Gwen chose on my next post.
Just for the sake of saying, may nagawa naman ako, I helped Gwen review for her exams, slight lang. And also not to disturb Jeff while working on her mask.
Science is a bit challenging, and I don’t expect Gwen to learn the Go, Grow, and Glow foods at this stage. That’s why we only studied healthy vs. junk food. For Reading, it’s Same & Different, and Beginning Vowel Sounds.
I used online worksheets from Schoolkid.ph for the Same & Different. For the Beginning Vowel Sounds, I can’t find something useful so I made one. I hope it’s useful for your kids too.
Download the Beginning Vowel Sounds Worksheet in PDF Format.
Please let me know if the worksheet shows on your end mommies. Sorry, my first time, thanks!
