Ensuring your pre-schooler has a memorable and enjoyable birthday can be challenging at the best of times, but now we’re in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, it’s safe to say that many parents are being pushed to their limits! 

While the majority play centres, pre-schools and playgrounds are closed and the number of people we can mix with may be restricted, the idea of celebrating your pre-schoolers birthday and giving your child the celebration they deserve can seem a little difficult. Have you heard about pregnant moms giving birth inside the plane, and because of that, their babies were given lifetime free flights of a particular airline? It’s amazing and at the same time frightening for the mommy giving birth in an unusual place, away from the care of doctors and medical professionals. Well, baby Zoey Farah was lucky because her mom is a Nursing Aide. Mommy Joy Espinoza was just responding to the call of nature while inside the ladies’ room of Fun Ranch Pampanga when she felt that her baby is coming out so she caught it by herself. What??? Mommy Joy also could not believe that she caught her own baby.

We sometimes drop by Playland if Gwen wants to play and I noticed that they have a function room that is perfect for kiddie parties. It’s like the function of Storyland before.

Last October 11, we attended the 3rd birthday of Jeff’s goddaughter at Jollibee Casimiro in Las Pinas. It was a Hello Kitty themed birthday party. I noticed that Jollibee is more lenient these days when it comes to party themes and other additional party activities. When Gwen celebrated her 1st birthday at Jollibee Shell Macapagal, I remembered having a lot of restrictions like prohibiting character-themed party favors and souvenirs, bringing in other food items, hiring non-accredited suppliers like photobooth, etc. Now, Jollibee even has a Hello Kitty theme, perfect for little girls!

Jeff’s cousin, Sherwee, is good at crafts and DIY. She first made a DIY candy buffet at her son’s birthday last January, also in Jollibee but with a Cowboy-theme. For this Hello Kitty themed birthday party, here’s what her DIY Candy Buffet looks like.

Planning your child’s party is one of the most exciting yet tiring task. As parents, we always want the best for our kids especially during their special days. It’s one of those times where you want your children to be absolutely happy celebrating their special day with their friends, classmates and families.

For a busy mom like me, I always opt to look for an all-in-one package (food, decors, activities, giveaways) para less stress. I also get overwhelmed with plenty of options and themes if I DIY, baka the party will end up a circus of sorts kasi hindi matchy-matchy. Most of all, I think I can save a bit if I only have one supplier.

When we think of kiddie parties, we’re limited to the popular fastfood choices out there. But let me share to you another great place to celebrate your kid’s birthday, The Aristocrat.
