Gwen became a picky eater since she turned one. Before, whatever is on the spoon in front of her she eats. But ever since she learned how to say no, that’s where our dilemma started. She likes corn, scrambled egg, suman, pancit (doesn’t like spaghetti), lugaw (doesn’t like champorado)… For fruits, she eats grapes, bananas and apples. Pero laging konting-konti lang, we even joked about it that she should always be in buffets, because she just wants to taste everything.
I got interested with cute bentos, originally, it’s my plan to prepare her a bento for her baon at school. At the start of July, her teacher informed me that in celebration of Nutrition Month, the students should bring a healthy baon at school, no biscuits allowed. I got excited so I made a trip to Saizen to buy my first bento loots, lunch boxes, heart-shaped and star-shaped cutters and rice mold.
