Last week, I dropped by at the Pampers First Family Photobooth at Puregold Quezon Avenue. We need to buy a few packs of Pampers Baby Dry for Gwen anyway. Yes, she’s still on diapers at nighttime because I don’t like her waking up from sleep because she’s gonna pee. We also use diapers during long drives and if we’re unsure if there’s an available comfort room along the road.

After stocking up on diapers, we went ahead at the Pampers booth to have our photos taken. It’s a rare chance to have a quality printout of photos nowadays. We have lots of photos but we only got to print a few. That’s why I made sure to drop by to any of the locations of the Pampers First Family Photo.

Top 3 things to boost Multiple Intelligence of your children + June contest

It’s June and most of you mommies are also busy with a new back-to-school schedule. Now is also the perfect time to boost our child’s #MultipleIntelligence. Last summer, it’s all about Body Smart since most of the kids joined sports clinics like swimming, basketball, etc. At school, their Brain Smart and People Smart will be honed.

To help our children jump start their way to Multiple Intelligence, it is important that they have the right nutrition to begin with. I’m happy to report that since we switched to Progress Pre-School GOLD, a lot of people noticed that Gwen is more plump than before. She used to drink a more expensive milk suggested by her pedia but you know, expensive doesn’t mean it’s the best or “hiyang” for your child.

Third time’s a charm, and when it comes to Multiple Intelligence, three is indeed lucky. Who wouldn’t want a child with 3 kinds of smarts? I’m talking about Brain Smart, Body Smart, and People Smart. I believe that every child is capable of being a Multi-Achiever, as long as as we give them opportunities to freely explore and develop their capabilities. While our kids are young, I try to give them more time and activities to discover the things where they excel. By learning more things, the more chances that we are raising a Generation MI, a generation of Multi-Achievers.

Gwen’s Recognition Day + Multiple Intelligence Tweet & Win is back!

It was Gwen’s Recognition Day last March 25, 2015. Gwen’s classes ended a week before that and her adviser said that they will just call if the student will attend the recognition day. The recognition day will be just for pre-school students who will be incoming Grade 1 and Junior Kinder students who have special awards and honors. To tell you honestly, we weren’t expecting that we will be called for the recognition day. Just the fact that Gwen finished the school year is a BIG accomplishment for us! If you know my struggles….Gwen had a serious case of separation anxiety, so for the first three months, I needed to accompany her inside the classroom. And for the rest of the year, si Ate Rose naman ang kasama sa loob ng classroom. There was a time na nagpapaiwan na, but after that long Christmas vacation, ayaw na ulit magpaiwan sa loob.

But despite that, Gwen still showed enthusiasm to learn. She actively participates in their activities, kaya nga her adviser told us na wag patigilin sa school kasi gusto naman mag-aral. We thought of pulling her out na kasi because of her separation anxiety. Buti na lang Teacher Airene advised us not to and just let Ate Rose inside their room if that will appease her.

Gwen was consistent in being one of the top students in class, o ha! From first to fourth quarter, it’s either 2nd or 3rd honor. She also participated in the school’s Reading contest and Math Quiz Bee. Yung Reading, CVC words lang naman because the school specializes in reading.

Anyway, March 25 came and it’s Recognition Day.
