Our baby’s first steps is a milestone, those first few steps are a big accomplishment for our little ones. If our babies can already talk, a shout out to the world will be something like this, “Watch out world, here I come!” Along with the joy that this milestone brings, we are also worried about the accidents that might happen like what if our baby slipped, what if he/she stepped on rough and sharp surfaces, etc.
Should babies wear shoes?
No. Parenting experts all agreed that barefoot is the way to go for babies and toddlers. Babies’ feet will develop naturally if he/she walks barefoot. Let them feel the ground to develop their balance, strength, and coordination. This will help strengthen the muscles and ligaments on their feet.
Attipas Shoes – Like Walking Barefoot
Since experts advised that barefoot is best for toddlers, Attipas created an innovative product that mimics walking barefoot yet provides the protection of a shoes.
Features:
- Convenience – Durable, non-slip, machine washable, fast drying.
- Breathable – Perforated sole releases heat and moisture for added comfort.
- Large Toe Box – Free toe movement for improved cognitive & motor development.
- Safe – Built with non toxic safety tested materials.
- Lightweight & Flexible – Super lightweight, just like wearing socks!
Attipas Philippines through Mommy Bloggers Philippines sent a pair of Attipas shoes in Lollipop design to me a few weeks ago. It is so adorable. I remember letting Gwen wear something similar that we bought in Singapore. Attipas is a Korean brand, I have a friend who swears by Korean products because it is really safe for babies, not to mention they are pretty!
Unfortunately, the Attipas sent to me runs a size smaller than Gwen’s feet. It’s perfect to wear when she’s on play areas at the mall instead of wearing plain socks. More protection for her toes and she won’t slip because of the non-slip sole. I’ll just give this to my niece this Christmas and buy the perfect size for Gwen.
Lollipop design has other colors too!
But I’m eyeing this for Gwen, so funky!
I think they are having a Christmas sale right now, Buy One Get One at 50% off. These will make perfect Christmas gifts!
Attipas is exclusively distributed by CKMJ Greenovation Inc. with contact number 559-5140. Attipas functional toddler shoes are available in Tarte Tatin (Rockwell and Greenbelt 5), Babyland (Shaw, Eastwood and Festival), Rustans (Shangrila, Makati and Alabang), Babyzone (Fisher Mall), Baby Steps (Festival Mall), Wellworth Department Store (Fairview Terraces), Landmark (Makati and Trinoma), Fisher Mall Department Store, Kuku Duckbill (Market Market), Baby and Kids (Festival Mall); and online through www.facebook.com/PurpleCradle, cudsly.com and Lazada.

Cute and functional shoes! I’ve heard that barefoot is best but some need ankle support to start standing. I’ll have to share these shoes with my new mom friends.
