After dreaming about those modern high chairs, I finally decided to just buy an affordable one for Gwen. I bought an Aprica high chair 2 months ago. Aprica? affordable? YES. Because it’s second-hand, it came from a Japan surplus shop.
The Aprica high chair from the Japan’s Best (Japan surplus shop in Araneta Square in Monumento) is only Php 1,800. It’s perfectly working and still complete with accessories like the table.
It might be an old or discontinued model but Jeff made sure to wash the whole chair until it’s sparkling white. We’ve been using the high chair for 2 months already and still perfect.
If you’re tight on cash and having a baby, do check out some Japan surplus shops because they have lots of baby items like infant rockers, high chairs, strollers and toys.

SooAe’s high chair is also a secondhand. I wasn’t sure if she’d like being on it anyway so it’s still a good steal at $60, considering the prices of baby things here. i would have loved to check on the strollers. SooAe got a jogging stroller from my mommy friend here but we just couldn’t fold it, LOL!

Thank god for second hand baby stuff. Ang mamahal kasi tapos gagamitin lang for a short time.
