I’m one of those moms who considered Ipads, tablets and smartphones a high-tech nanny. If I have a restless toddler, or we’re in the car and I want her to sit down, or just anytime I want to do something, I hand her my phone. And just like that, Gwen already knew what she’ll look for with a few slides on the screen. It still puzzles me how she learned to open apps and watch videos.
Because of this, Jeff kept reminding me to back-up my files especially photos and videos in case Gwen accidentally deletes it. It’s in my to-do list for the longest time, I swear, but but but….
Earlier, this was displayed on my phone…
I literally froze… checked the gallery a few times. So it happened, Gwen’s videos dancing Gangnam style, vacation photos, baby pictures were all gone.
I can imagine Jeff saying, “I told you to back-up”.
Ooookay, maybe it’s still not completely lost. I remember I set up the phone to upload photos and videos on my Dropbox account. Once I copied them from Dropbox, I am sooooo making a back-up, I’ll burn two or more copies on CDs!
Excuse me for now while I recover the files, and will look for apps that can child-proof my Android phone. If you know any, tell me in the comments section.
