Happy 2016! Sorry, if I’ve been on hiatus the whole Christmas vacation. Jeff and I filed the 28th and 29th of December as VL from our work just so we can have a long vacation, hence the lack of updates but I’m still active on IG and FB. Right after Christmas, we went to the beach with friends and then stayed in Tagaytay after. I’ll post about it especially our Burot Beach getaway, it’s a dream come true to go camping for us!
I know it’s a bit late to post my One Word for 2016 but it’s only the first week of January. It’s my first time to do this and I hope it’ll help me guide my direction for this year.
My chosen one word is ACHIEVE.
I was contemplating between FOCUS and ACHIEVE as my one word and the latter won. I think it’s a stronger word than focus. Because this year, I want to accomplish a lot of things. Life has been steady and comfortable for the past years, it’s not a bad thing and I’m really thankful for that. But I think it’s time towards something greater and towards moving out of our comfort zone.
Career-wise, I still love the company I work in for a decade already. But our needs are changing and I wanted to provide not just for Gwen and myself but also for my parents’ needs. I wanted them to live a full life and give back for all that they’ve done to me.
Health-wise, I wanted to continue my #projectfit. I started going to the gym last July, but it was an on & off affair between me and the gym, like 2 months gym and 1 month rest. Then came the Christmas season, I gained all the pounds back so it’s back to square one.
The biggest dream I want to ACHIEVE this year is #projectScandinavian. I’ll just leave it there muna. We’re almost getting started on it last year but things didn’t go as planned. This year, it will happen, I’m claiming it!
Do you have your one word for 2016? I want to know, share in the comments section and also your own blog post if you have one.
I hope your #projectScandinavian pushes through this year! Huwag ang mauna ang sumpa ng paglipat hahaha
Sabi ko wala pa ako one word for 2016 pero while reading your post, I realized that the first goal related word I wrote on my planner is FOCUS! So I guess that’ be guiding light this year 🙂
Hmmm, curious about the Scandinavian one. Could it be an interior design? A person? A company?
Congratulations on being able to identify your One Word for the year! 🙂 Wishing that you’d be able to live it out throughout the year.
My #OneWord this year is Anointed. You can read about my backstory here: http://mommytg.blogspot.com/2016/01/oneword-for-2016-anointed.html
Good Luck sa #projectfit at #project Scandinavian! I like your one word. I’m sure ma-achieve mo yan. Meanwhile, ikaw ang gagawin kong #fitspiration.
