At 5 months and 6 days old, Gwen’s pediatrician gave the go signal to start on solid food. Her pedia advised to start on cereals first and recommended Cerelac. For two weeks, cereals were to be given once a day, preferably between 9 am to 12 noon. I feel like a stage mom, I’m so excited! And guess what, she likes it very much, she’s very eager to open her mouth once she sees the spoon. The few tablespoons we prepared were gone in minutes. Good job baby!
Nanay said Gwen is not a picky eater because she immediately consumed her cereal despite the introduction of a new taste. I guess she acquired my healthy appettite, hehe. Here’s to the start of our baby food adventures. And when she grows up, I hope she eats healthy so as to avoid weight loss and other treatments like cheap lipofuze.

it’s nice being a mom! I’m a mom of 3, but they’re big now, ages 8,8 and 5. I miss feeding a baby like yours…visitig you from levyousa’s contest.

hi Badet! i was actually thinking on giving SooAe rice cereal (home made) for her first solid food.. pero nong nakita ko to, i requested my brother to buy some for me, haha!
Gwen is so cute.. sana nga di rin maging mapili si SooAe sa food someday. hugs and kisses to her please…

Mas ok din siguro yung homemade. My initial plan was to give her mashed potatoes, carrots, etc…Pero her pedia said to start with cereals talaga muna kaya I obeyed. After a few weeks, gusto ko rin homemade baby food.
