When your kids are in school, it is a must that as parents, we will provide them all the necessary materials and tools as support with their studies. The demands of schoolwork is very challenging, both on the side of the parents and students. Hindi sapat ang moral support for our kids, dapat we have to provide them the right tools to aid in their studies like laptop and reliable Internet connection for their research and assignments. One thing that is often overlooked is having a printer at home. Maybe because of budget constraints or the notion that it’s cheaper to have the files printed at an Internet cafe rather than printing it at home. I think it’s time to rethink and read about HP’s newest All-in-One printer and why it’s the perfect printer for the whole family.
I’m an HP user since my college years and was satisfied with it that I never tried other brands. 3 years ago, I also reviewed HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 e-All-in-One Printer. Now, another HP printer model arrived, it’s the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3635 All-in-One printer.
4 reasons why the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3635 is the perfect printer for the family:
-
Compact design
The printer’s design is very straightforward. No unnecessary and complicated buttons. Scanner/copier on the top and the printer function at the bottom. It’s also small enough that it can fit on your child’s study table or your home office space. -
Ease of use
The unboxing and set-up of this printer took me barely an hour. Just connect the cables, load the ink cartridges, and follow the set-up instructions. You can print the manual/set-up guide using the printer too. The easier way is to download the app in your smartphones and just follow what the app tells you. There was a minor set back in connecting the printer in our WiFi network at home but I think it’s a problem with our modem/router. I was able to connect via Wi-Fi Direct and was able to print photos direct from my phone! Yes! No more backlogs for our family album. -
Convenient and Time-saver
Print. Scan. Copy. You can do all these with this machine. No need to go to the shop to have a certain page photocopied, minsan mahaba pa ang pila sa “xeroxan”. You can save time because you don’t have to go out of your house and your child can have more time with his/her studies.
I really love its WiFi Direct feature. I can print from my phone or tablet while watching TV or lying in bed. -
Value for money
Gone are the days that printers cost an arm and a leg. Mahal na nga yung printer, ang mahal pa ng ink. With HP Deskjet 3635 printer, the unit is only Php 4,499. Some stores offer it in installments pa for 6 months or more. The Black and Tri-color ink cartridge costs Php 505 each. The Black cartridge can print 480 pages. If you’ll do the math, it will only be around 1 Pesos per page! You can even save more with its Draft mode option which uses less ink.

If your resolution this 2016 is to make better decisions with your purchases, then the HP Deskjet 3635 printer is the perfect choice for your family’s needs.
Ay naku!!!I need a new printer na rin. And daming printing demands sa school! Kahit ako I have my own printing demands (Planner stickers hello!) and based on your post, I think the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3635 All-in-One printer is the best printer for me!
Heehee, our HP Ink Advantage experience wasn’t very pleasant. We only used it for less than a year. It couldn’t keep up with our homeschooling needs. It’s gone now.
It definitely seems like a worth-it printer talaga! I’m currently in the process of listing things I’d be needing once my partner and I move in together and we plan on having a mini-office space in our place. We definitely need a straight-forward and not complicated printer. Thanks for sharing this one! 🙂
Good choice Gellie!
Thank you for sharing! This is such a useful post to keep handy!
Do you know what thet say about printers? Never show them that you’re in a hurry, they can smell the fear! Haha
I own a small multi functions by Epson and I couldn’t be happier
Thanks for this! Im actually planning to get myself a personal printer at home ( for myself lng muna, wala pa naman akong anak 😁). Will definitely check this sa store.
Thanks for sharing your informative insights about this particular printer. We might buy this once our old printer’s done. 🙂
Thank’s for giving me this advantage to decide why HP INK ADVANTAGE is the one that has to be at my office. Review Appreciated 🙂
Thanks for the review, I haven’t tried HP printers because I use brother printers but I think is more userfriendly.
I agree with all your points and being a mother of twins guy can imagine how much printing happens in my house. Unfortunately in India I have had bad experience with their service centres .
Speaking of parenting children, especially the younger ones. I used to have a hard time with my kids too. Starting at grades 1 and 2, I worked with them, instilling in them the attitude of self-study. The only time they ask questions is when they need to do essays. Other than that, most of the time, they come home, they unpack their bags, sit down and complete their studies.
I often did not check what they have done.
I couldn’t care less if they get less than ideal grades al parents like but as long as I see them doing what they need to do, it is good for me.
The result was, after nearly two years, they have retained that attitude.
My wife and I now live separately and the the beauty of this is that she does not have to have to sit down with the kids after school like many others have to.
Ooh I love the colour of this printer!! We have a little compact canon printer which for now serves our needs. I think I use the scanner mostly on mine and occasionally print out boarding passes for holidays so it’s really not a well used item in the home but I’m sure when my daughter goes to school it will be more frequently used!
